| Class XI Admission Policy

(Apply within three working days after the AISSE 2010 result declaration – Panchkula Region).
Kindly note the criteria for admission to class XI for the session 2010-11.
1. INTERNAL CANDIDATES
- Admission is seamless and automatic, however, streams will be allotted according to the board result. (Details in circular sent in the month of December’09).
- Students need to fill the internal form for allocation of stream within three working days after result declaration.
2. EXTERNAL CANDIDATES
a. Eligibility Criteria
CBSE :

A1 / A2 grades in all five subjects.

ICSE AND OTHER BOARDS :

Science Stream :
|
Aggregate 85%
|

ESM 90%
|
|
Commerce Stream :
|
80% and above in all 5 subjects
|
|
Humanities Stream :
|
80% and above in all 5 subjects
|
- Eligible candidates have to appear for an entrance exam followed by an interview.
|

b. Admission Test : The eligible candidates have to appear for an entrance exam on the fourth working day after declaration of result (Panchkula Region) in the following subjects:

Science Stream :

English, Science and Maths.

Commerce Stream :
|
English, Maths and Aptitude Test
|

Humanities Stream :
|
English and Aptitude Test
|
|
c. Interview : The list of candidates shortlisted for the interview with the admission committee will be displayed the following day on the school notice board and website www.dpsgurgaon.org
