Danish Immersive Exchange Programme

STAGE – I

Delhi Public School, Gurgaon joined hands with Aalborg Katedral Skole, Denmark for a Research-Based Exchange Programme. 20 students from each of the schools are fortunate to be a part of this exchange.

As a first step towards the programme, three teachers of the Danish school, accompanied by Mr Anshul Jain - Director, Nordic Consult Group India, visited our school. Our Danish guests were Christian Droulon Ifversen - Vice Principal of Aalborg Katedral Skole and his two teachers, Torben Ole Hjorth and Jakob Brolin Gade. They were given a traditional welcome at the school by the students and later they met Director Principal, Ms Aditi Misra.

The Danish teachers interacted with the 20 students of our school who are a part of the exchange programme. It was followed by an orientation of the school which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The Danish guests were given a glimpse of Indian Art through hands-on activities at Potter’s Wheel and Block Printing. They enthusiastically participated in these activities.

The Danish guests appreciated the facilities offered by the school and lauded the efforts of the school in providing education to the underprivileged children of society.

The day marked the beginning of a long-lasting friendship across continents.
